The current professional title codes for high school teachers are as follows:
– High school teacher, Grade 3 – Code V.07.05.15;
– High school teacher, Grade 2 – Code V.07.05.14;
– High school teacher, Grade 1 – Code V.07.05.13.

How are the appointment of titles and salary classifications for high school teachers regulated from April 14, 2026?
Based on the regulations in Article 9 of Circular 31/2026/TT-BGDĐT regarding the appointment of titles and salary classification for high school teachers from April 14, 2026, the following applies:
Officials appointed to the high school teacher title as stipulated above shall apply the corresponding salary scale issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
– High school teacher Grade 3 – Code V.07.05.15, shall apply the salary coefficient of civil servants type A1 from 2.34 to 4.98;
– High school teacher Grade 2 – Code V.07.05.14, shall apply the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2.2 from 4.00 to 6.38;
– High school teacher, Grade 1 – Code V.07.05.13, is subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A2, group A2.1, ranging from 4.40 to 6.78.
Civil servants who have been appointed to the professional titles of high school teachers as prescribed by the Minister of Education and Training are appointed to the corresponding titles as stipulated above as follows:
– Appointment to Grade 3 – Code V.07.05.15 for high school teacher Grade 3 – Code V.07.05.15 and subject to the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98;
– Appointment to Grade 2 – Code V.07.05.14 for high school teachers of Grade 2 – Code V.07.05.14, with the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A2, group A2.2, ranging from 4.00 to 6.38;

What are the current standards for training and professional development qualifications for high school teachers?
Based on the provisions of Article 14 of Circular 30/2026/TT-BGDĐT, which specifies the standards for training and professional development of high school teachers, the following applies:
(1) For high school teachers of rank 3 – Code V.07.05.15
– Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a teacher training field suitable for the subject taught or have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a specialized field suitable for the subject taught and have a pedagogical certificate for high school teachers; except for the two cases mentioned below;
– Music and Fine Arts teachers must meet the standard training level as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 20 of Decree No. 93/2026/ND-CP;
– Ethnic Minority Language teachers must meet the standard training level as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 20 of Decree No. 93/2026/ND-CP dated March 31, 2026;
– Have a certificate of professional training for high school teachers.
(2) For high school teachers of grade 2 – Code V.07.05.14
– Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a teacher training field suitable for the subject taught or have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a specialized field suitable for the subject taught and have a pedagogical certificate for high school teachers;
– Have a certificate of professional training for high school teachers.
(3) For high school teachers of grade 3 – Code V.07.05.13
– Have a master’s degree or higher in a teacher training field suitable for the subject taught or have a master’s degree or higher in a specialized field suitable for the subject taught and have a pedagogical certificate for high school teachers;
– Have a certificate of professional training for high school teachers.
