Who is allowed to enter Ba Dinh Square on the 80th National Day Celebration?
According to the detailed schedule of the PARADE PAGE; The list of FIREWORKS locations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day on September 2, 2025 clearly states:
The parade and marching event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will start from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 2.
Scale: National level, with the participation of about 30,000 people (excluding the parade and marching forces) and armed forces and the masses. There will be the participation of parade forces from 5 guest countries.
Location: The center is Ba Dinh Square, then the parade will pass through central streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, etc.
Time: From 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025.
The stage area at Ba Dinh Square is reserved for invited delegates. People can freely watch along the streets where the parade passes.
How to participate and instructions: This is the most important event. To watch live, people should choose a location on Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma streets… and arrive very early (before 06:00).
You can watch through 270 LED screens installed throughout the city. Strictly comply with security regulations and instructions from the authorities.

According to the detailed schedule of the PARADE, PARADE; list of FIREWORKS locations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day on September 2, 2025, the route of each parade block on the occasion of the National Day on September 2, 2025 is as follows:
*Court Block:
After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left on Nguyen Thai Hoc – Trang Thi – Trang Tien to August Revolution Square.
*Block of military, foreign military, police, and militia:
Direction 1: After passing the stage, turn right on Le Hong Phong – follow Ngoc Ha to Bach Thao Park.
Direction 2: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left on Nguyen Thai Hoc – Trang Thi – Trang Tien to August Revolution Square.
Direction 3: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn right on Nguyen Thai Hoc – Kim Ma – Lieu Giai – Van Cao to Quan Ngua Stadium.
Direction 4: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left on Nguyen Thai Hoc – Le Duan to Thong Nhat Park.

After passing the stage, turn left on Le Hong Phong to the Ministry of National Defense headquarters.
* Tired vehicle block:
Direction 1: After passing the stage, follow the route of Cua Bac – Nghi Tam – Au Co – Vo Chi Cong – Lang Road – Tran Duy Hung – Thang Long Boulevard – Le Quang Dao to the F1 Racetrack.
Direction 2: After passing the stage, follow the route Nguyen Thai Hoc – Giang Vo – Lang Road – Tran Duy Hung – Thang Long Boulevard – Le Quang Dao to the F1 Racetrack.

What is the 29th holiday schedule for civil servants this year? How many days off are they?
According to Article 112 of the 2019 Labor Code, holidays and Tet holidays are regulated as follows:
Holidays and Tet holidays
- Employees are entitled to days off with full pay on the following holidays and Tet holidays:
- a) New Year’s Day: 01 day (January 1st)
- b) Lunar New Year: 05 days
- c) Victory Day: 01 day (April 30th)
- d) International Labor Day: 01 day (May 1st)
- e) National Day: 02 days (September 2nd and 01 day immediately before or after);
- e) Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day: 01 day (March 10th of the lunar calendar).
- Foreign employees working in Vietnam, in addition to the holidays prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article, are also entitled to 01 day off for their traditional New Year and 01 day off for their country’s National Day.
- Every year, based on actual conditions, the Prime Minister shall decide on specific holidays specified in Points b and d, Clause 1 of this Article.
Accordingly, National Day 29 is a holiday and Tet holiday for which employees are entitled to take a day off from work and receive full pay.
According to regulations, on National Day 29 2025, employees are entitled to 02 days off (September 2 of the solar calendar and 01 day immediately before or after) according to the provisions of the Labor Code 2019
In addition, according to Notice 6150/TB-BLDTBXH in 2024, the National Day 29 holiday schedule in 2025 is as follows:
Civil servants and public employees are entitled to a holiday on the occasion of National Day 2025 from Saturday, August 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025 of the solar calendar. This holiday includes 02 National Day holidays and 02 weekly days off.
Agencies and units that do not implement a fixed schedule of Saturday and Sunday every week will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable schedule of holidays, in accordance with the provisions of law.
Employers are encouraged to apply the National Day holiday in 2025 for employees as prescribed for civil servants and public employees.
Thus, on National Day 2025 this year, civil servants will have a day off from Saturday, August 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025 (4 days including 02 National Day holidays and 02 weekly days off)
