Accordingly, in order to ensure timely regimes and policies for pensioners, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances, at the payment period of August 2023, the Vietnam Social Security Administration will:
– Organize the payment of pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance according to the new rate from August 14, 2023 (the effective date of Decree 42/2023/ND-CP).
– Full refund of the unearned excess difference of July 2023.
Decree 42/2023/ND-CP (effective from August 15, 2023) stipulates the increase of pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance from July 1, 2023 as follows: :
– Increase by 12.5% on the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2023 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP. adjusted according to Decree 108/2021/ND-CP.
– An increase of 20.8% on the monthly pension, social insurance allowance and allowance of June 2023 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of this Decree that have not been adjusted under the Decree. 108/2021/ND-CP .
From July 1, 2023, people who are enjoying pensions, social insurance allowances, monthly allowances as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 1 of Decree 42/2023/ND-CP, after adjusting according to regulations above, with a benefit level lower than VND 3,000,000/month, the increase shall be adjusted as follows:
– An increase of 300,000 VND/person/month for those who receive less than 2,700,000 VND/person/month;
– Increase to 3,000,000 VND/person/month for those who earn from 2,700,000 VND/person/month to less than 3,000,000 VND/person/month.
The pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance after adjustment according to the above provisions shall be the basis for calculating the adjustment of pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance in subsequent adjustments. according to.
